Mold – injection molding tool
We begin the mold design with a manufacturability analysis, where we simulate the filling of the part and the associated risk factors. Together with the customer, we optimize the product details, such as wall thicknesses, ribs and parting surfaces. We manufacture a mold that produces high quality and is easy to maintain. The goal is cost-effectiveness for both the mold and the product.
We use only high-quality European mold materials and components. The mold manufacturing uses a 5-axis and an Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) centers as well as several other mold manufacturing auxiliary equipment.

Mold design typically takes 1-2 weeks, and mold manufacturing takes 2-8 weeks, depending on the mold´s characteristics.
Ownership is agreed in the contract; most often the mold belongs to the customer. We perform maintenance as agreed in our production (cleaning and inspections).
Larger maintenance is always agreed with the customer separately.
The best information to get started is a 3D model (STEP/STP), Parasolid (x_t) and a short description of the operating conditions (heat, chemicals, mechanical stress). We assess manufacturability by performing a fulfillment analysis and, if necessary, make a proposal for changes to facilitate injection molding.
